Vida Not Ok Issue When Install The Dice Software 2013a 2013d 2014a And Previous Version

Today we install the Volvo DICE 2014A software for one customer, he requires install the software in DELL E6420 laptop.

As we all know, the requirements of VIAD DICE always complex and not more than hardware, but software as well. Otherwise you will met many headache errors.

I installed more than 8 times and tried Windows XP OS and Windows7 OS, both OS i tried to install based 32Bit. 64Bit I almost going to try before my success.

Here i just share with some important TIPS when install the Volvo Vida DICE software.

Please do notice, make everything ready before installation, otherwise, you will repeat to prepare to match the requirement one by one.
f you only match the above things are not enough, you still need below software to ensure all software install steps are smoothly:

Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Express Edition
Windows Installer 4.5 Redistributable
Microsoft Core XML Services (MSXML) 6.0
Windows Installer Cleanup Utility
Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 Service Pack (already included in the VIDA DICE install software DVD)
I met some errors such as: VIDA NOT OK, or the software not meet the requirements.

Resolve Vida All on one communication tool problem for VIDA DICE

Some customers when use vida all in one software will have the following problem,communication tool can not be displayed,
then can not to choose device, resulting in volvo vida dice does not work.

That because the IE browser version of the computer is too low, volvo vida dice 2014D software need IE9 or higher browser.

The best way is addition to the IE browser, the computer do not install other browsers such as firefox and chrome.

How to solve?
1, Install IE9 or higher IE browser. Reopen and to check if the vida all in one correctly display or not.
2, If can not display well, suggest re-installed operation system, then install IE9,and install volvo vida all in on again
(note the order don't be reversed).
After all do well will display normal.

In addition, we found that volvo vida all in one need the computer ram is below 3GB. Otherwise it could not successfully installed.
