Passenger Side Mirror

My wife backed into the garage door last week. The glass is fine but the mounting plate that attaches into the motor is missing a few parts. I am trying to determine what parts I need. The motor works but the adjusters that go into the mirror from the backing plate that the glass connects to is just shot. Any idea where I can just get the full motor assembly so I just need to install my glass. Not having a side view mirror is awful especially in the summer with so many motorcycles around.

I have the same situation. Here is a pic of mine. I wonder if the motor and plate holding the mirror can be purchased together or separately, as to avoid buying the full mirror assembly. All that isn't working on mine is the center peg which broken. Sort of a waste to spend hundreds $$ to fix a peg.

Jeff, I didn't actually answer your question. I have found full assemblies at www.sweedishautoparts.com

My effort is to replace/repair the connection between the motor and the plate holding the glass. I'm not even sure if the assembly comes with what I need. I'd hate to buy and find out that is doesn't.

Does anyone out there have any experience or knowledge with this?
