I have an EZ-Pass transponder to put on my XC90's windshield and after reading the placement instructions I'm not certain about something. The instructions say that some vehicles have metallic oxides in their windshield glass that prevents the transponder from being read. No Volvos are on the list (at least, not mine) so... if I follow the instructions to place it at least one inch over from the rearview post and one inch down from the top, can I still place it within the black painted area and still have it work?
