Hello Forum,
I have a 1999 V70 XC. I have several apparent sensor problems. Even though I close my driver door securely, I often cannot get the floor light to turn off or the "door open" beep to stop, I have to open and shut the door 3 or 4 times before I finally get it to recognize the door is shut.
The red light mounted in the end of the left side passenger door also often does not turn off when the door is shut. If I ask one of my kids to open and shut it, sometimes it then causes my driver door floor light to come back on! (see first problem above)
Finally, the back hatch light has the same problem as the others, I have to make a couple attempts to open and close the hatch before I can get the cargo area light to turn off. What's up with all of these sensors? Is there a way I can fix them without buying 3 new latch assemblies?
Thanks for any insight,
Brian
