Do These Wheels Have A Name?

Hi,
I am trying find out about the wheels from my Volvo 240 wagon, but I don't know what I have. They are 15" wheels - and that is all I know about them! I think they are alloy, but I'm not sure.

Does anyone know if this type of wheel has a name (like the virgo rims)? Were they original volvo equipment on some car or another? Does anyone know how much these would sell for?

Any info would be appreciated!

Hi,

It is 5,5 x 14" (see casting near the hub) and yes - they do have a name: Corona.

I think they are the lightest wheel from Volvo for the 240... that's a bonus.

The wheels are Coronas and found on the early 242 and 262. Not a bad looking rim but a pain to clean.

Those are in fact Corona's. The lightest wheels that were used on a 240 were the sirius wheels used on the 70's 240's I believe.

anybody know a good place to find good wheels? I am looking for replica, OEM etc.

I was looking here http://www.finishlinewheels.com/VOLVO/240+...983/A-70149U10/ and it seems like a reasonable wheel but it's 14" and I would prefer 15". I looked at Brick's page that IceBrick posted and I would love to get my hands on a set of the Rigel wheels.
