V90 gearbox from P to N without starting engine

I have a 21 plate (22MY) V90 B4 (2 litre mild hybrid). I would like to know how to get the gearbox out ofPark into neutral WITHOUT starting the engine (the on-board e-manual says that for some gearbox variants one has to start the engine to get the gearbox out of P). The technician at the Volvo dealer whereI bought the car says that there is a way that involves removing the air bax and accessing the gearbox control unit under the airbox and on top of the gearbox. However the dealer technician refues to show how it's done. Can anyone help?

Hi,

There is a button to unlock the shifter (at least on my 2017 V90).
Its located under the rubber mat inthe front compartiment of the center console.
