I'm not sure if I know what 'hidden hitch' is - but we have a removable trailer attachement on our v70.

I have found this pretty easy to use and I am very impressed by the engineering. the detachable part is difficult to store - it doesn't fit in the shopping storage area - so it just lies around it its tough cotton bag.
