The v70 comes as standard with a stiffer "Dynamic chassis" on the other hand Volvo V70 R come with a very unique features that is represented only by Volvo. This unique feature is “Four C” (Continuously Controlled Chassis Concept) technology, enabling the suspension to be switched between Sport, Advanced Sport or Comfort settings at the touch of a button.

I have a 6 speed V70R
The Dynamic Chassis Controls really do work, they also adjust steering and throttle response. It has loads of torque and horsepower. In fact it will theoretically outrun a 2004 Mustang GT (but not the new '05's). The interior is a bit sportier, lots of brushed aluminum and stitched leather. I really like the car although it was a bit pricey.

Yes they are a bit pricey but they handle like they are on rails. They are fast but persionaly they really dont impress me on the take off.My 87 mustang 5.0 feels like it takes off faster then the S60R/V70R.It probally doesn't but feels like it.

The Limited Production V70 R is the performance model w/ awd, 4 C suspension system, stability control, EBD, EBA, ABS. Oh and let's not forget a Turbocharged 2.5 Liter inline 5 pumping 300 hp. There's the difference my friend.
