Hi! I'm new to this forum and if purchased, this will be my first Volvo. There is a 2004 XC70 with 160k miles on it for sale near me for $4995, about average cost based on the market it seems. I've been looking for a bit of project car. I'm looking to buy it as a second vehicle for use in the winter and for camping/offroading. According to the CarFax, It has been well maintained over the years and has only had one owner, in Illinois, until the car was put up for sale. I'm going to look at the car this upcoming Wednesday. I was just hoping to get some insight into any common problems or things that I should watch out for. Anything mechanical, electrical, or common failure points with the body/undercarriage, I'm all ears. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
