Fellow V40 Owners,

Despite searching the owner's manual or the infotainment menu, I can't seem to find a way to disable traffic announcements. It's so annoying when listening to the radio to be interrupted with traffic information.

Does anyone know how to disable this permanently please?

Hallelujah. I stumbled upon a section in the infotainment manual which paved the way. I still don't understand it, but as far as I can make out, it's possible to set TP (traffic announcements) from individual FM channels. (I don't know if it's one or multiple.) Anyhow, whenever there's a traffic announcement from that channel, it interrupts your listening to bring you that traffic update.

So, after systematically browsing all FM stations I found one culprit station with traffic announcements enabled. Now it's gone. (Hamlet cigar moment.)
