hi i am a new owner of a 850 turbo with both air guides torn off. how important is it to replace them since the licence plate blocks about half of the openning part numbers are 6808693 and 9133378. thanks. great site very helpful. BOB

They are there to channel air throught the A/C condensor and radiator to help keep car cooled properly.Also there to protect those same parts.You have 2 part # im assuming the other guide was the one that protects the oil pan from being damaged.I would say put them on if you can.They are designed for a purpose.

If you're in a hot country like mine, keep them as clear (meaning unblocked) as possible...
