Are the rear facing 7 seat conversions model specific?

I need to find one for my 240 estate, and have been told both that I need one for the 240 (which is different to the 7 and 9 series seat) and also that the seat that'll fit the 7 and 9 series will also fit the 240. Which is right?

And the seatbelts.... are they specific to Volvo, or can I buy any static seat belt and fit it? Where can I find the belts on their own (been offered a seat, but it has no belts, and if I can't get the belts it's obviously pretty useless).

try ebay i seen about £150.with all belts etc. ok dan

I believe the seats are specific to model.You can also look for the seatbelts in a salvage yard.You can usually get them pretty cheap if you can find them.You would be better off getting seatbelts that fit the car.
