Hi All. I got a 2013 xc90. I got water spilled onto my steering wheel and now the wiper and indicator control stalks and all control elements on them no longer work. The media buttons and cruise control buttons do work somehow. Wipers are stuck to one speed. Anti skip needs service notice is on.

I did some research, and it seems to make sense that quite probably:
1) the control board behind the wheel has been damaged.
and or
2) the stalk's own daughter boards/switches are damaged/corroded
and or
3) for some reason the steering wheel angle sensor keeps coming up as a solution for people with just bad indicator stalks, possibly because it can come attached to a indicator stalk?

So currently I'm trying to source the right parts for a self repair. There's not that many steering wheel control boards on ebay, though there are a bunch of clocksprings/steeringwheel angle sensors. So now I'm resorting to actual oem part places. but I'm not sure about this DSTC/STC thing. How would I know which is the correct one? (without disassembling mine first)
