Premium Sound with subwoofer

hi there, i'm from wenduine, Belgium. next week, after almost 7 months of waiting my new XC90 will finally arrive. I've chosen a D5 ( diesel ) in Black Sapphire metallic. As a music lover i ordered the Premium sound system with the subwoofer
Has anyone got experience with this sound system combination ?

I have the same audio system,and it is fantastic! Guys
I took delivery of my XC90 D5 Exec in June and the Premium Sound System is the one thing I am less than impressed with. Based on what I read here, could it be my system rather than a common problem ? In spite of having the subwoofer, the whole system sounds flat, no matter how I adjust the EQ, Bass, etc settings. They work, and you can hear a difference as the settings change, there is just a richness missing all the time. Standard system in my wife's Lexus is a pleasure by comparison. Any ideas ?

I think its very similar to the HU-850. Read thru the owners manual for the advanced stereo settings/3-channel/pro-logic/etc. The manual is really helpful.

Will double check thanks. Think I have already tried every option - prologic or 3-ch or off; basic Bass & Treble settings; Front and Rear EQ settings; Subwoofer on & off; etc etc. Different sources eg FM, CD, MD - strangely, the MD seems to sound best. Will try again, and failing that have the dealer check it out.

I take delivery of my XC90 with Prermium Sound the week of 12th of September.. Will let you know.

I'v chosen not to take the factory sub though, as I'm a car audio fanatic, and have never found any factory sub that can give me the depth and volume I'm looking for.

So I have lying in my garage waiting to be put in the XC90:

* Pioneer AVIC-610T DVD Nav Unit
* Rockford Fosgate Power 1051S amp rated at 1100W RMS @ 4Ohm @ 14.4V
* Adire Audio 15" Brahma Sub (1600W RMS max) in a 2ft cube sealed enclosure.
