Hi,

Don't know what type of fluid to put in the v70 power steering. The book say use ATF, could this be any ATF from Auto Part store? thanks in advanced.

I went to AutoZone and the guy said i could use power steering fluid as an alternative to ATF fluid, was he wrong? The noises and grinding seemed to get worse after i put in some regular power steering fluid!? What should i do?

The steering fluid is pretty much the same as the trans fluid.

The ATF and the Power Steering fluid are used interchangeably as they are of the same kind.

Maybe you should further check the power steering system, then... What do you mean when you said 'regular'...?
