Is the pollen filter (cabin air filter) easy to replace? If so, what are the steps to do this? Is the filter a part you have to buy at Volvo or do most local auto parts store carry the filter?
Im not sure if they hit the aftermarket yet.Open the hood and on the right side of the car at the base of the windsheild. There is the black cowl cover there is 3 t-25 screws holding the cover on on the right side.Remove them and lift up on the cover and remove and replace the Filter.
you can get the replacement pollen filters to buy,try NORDIC they do nearly all parts for volvos and anything Swedish. The web site is; www.nordiccar.com or e-mail at [email protected] or failing all that maybe call uk 0044 1932 232 949.Hope that helps...........
