Hello "colleagues". I am driving Volvo 760 turbodiesel for a few years,a I have notice that it spent too much synthetic oil and it is not so "strong" with it.Visually,it doesn`t fit for the old engines,so my question is following...is there any one of you who really now what is the original or the best type of oil for the "old" turbo diesel engines.
regards to all and tks. in advance.

Babysiter.

My book says for cold climates use 5w/30 mild climates 10w/30 and warm climates 15w/40 for the diesel engines. If you are burning oil and it doesn;t get very cold there then you can use 20w/50.
