I will try to find out some info for you.There is a guy driving a 740 with a chevy 350 around where I live and he shattered the stock rear.I will find out what he put in there and let you know.

Welcome I like to see new things done to Volvo's.

I also have a buddy doing the same thing installing a chevy 350 into a 740 wagon.He beefed up the stock turbo engine and got a 13.50 in the 1/4 mile and wasn't happy so he dumped it and is working on the 350 for it with nitrous.

Talked to my buddy last night.They put another factory rear back in the car and added some extra brackets to make it stronger.They are pretty solid rears he runs mid to high 12's in the 1/4 mile with the rear using nitrous.
