I bought my '05 S40 2.4i last week after selling my '05 Subaru STi ... before the STi I had owned a few other Subaru's including an '02 WRX.

I've only driven the S40 for a few days but so far I'm really happy with just about everything. Very smooth and refined especially compared to any Impreza.
Wish me luck as I break her in!
