Hi,

After 10 months of waiting I finally got my XC90 D5 GEARTRONIC. After driving a month there are some very nasty complains:
- A hard noise in the back while driving over cobblestone roads;
- A shock in the gearbox after starting and driving and the gearbox shifts from second to third gear;
- An annoying sound in my steering wheel all the time;
- A resonance in the roof furnishing when the rev counter shows 1500 rpm

In my opinion this is unacceptable for a car of this price and "quality" for the rest I am still happy driving this car and I hope Volvo will fix the complains.

When you take it to the dealer tell them the entire story about what happnes and when. Also make sure they go on a test drive with you so there is no second hand story getting to the mechanic. This is the best way to have the car fixed right the first time.
If at all possible teke the mechanic with you and duplicate the problems so he can also go looking for the problem and know just what you are talking about.
