Lock Problem

My 2001Volvo50 has a centralized lock system but due to some reason its not working since a couple of days. I got it checked also but the mechanic told me there is some thing wrong with its computer. Is he right or just tryng to make me make more money from me.

ooooooooops.
the mechanic is right in his opinion....as he must have checked the system...... if the wires are conected properly and the Lock system is not working then u need to replace it.

Is that system is a keyless remote system............ if it is ...... then it may b possible that the code involved in handling this system got corrupt and u should have to check it.
