Dear all,

After approx. 100 miles driving at a speed of 90 miles an hour, my Volvo 440 gets too warm and cannot go faster than 50 miles an hour. The car bumps and schocks, looks like false air in the engine. After cooling down (30 minutes), the car is been able to run again. It seems that driving at 65 miles an hour, is no problem for a longer period.

As no garage knows wha it is, I would like to ask if somebody is familiar with this problem.

Many thanks,

I don't know that much about the 440 we do not have them here in the U.S. It sounds like it might be a bad mass flow sensor or something along those lines.
