Hello, I am the new owner of a 1998 V70 XC AWD with 78000 miles and also a first time forum user. I enjoy all the attributes of the car except that it has starting problems in cool weather. When it is very cold(10F) turn key and no starter movement. At around 32 degrees it will start by turnig key to start position a second time or by waiting 10 seconds with key in position prior to starter engagement. My guess is that the problem is either in ignition switch or some electrical connection that is sensitive to contraction due to cold temps. Curious if it is a common problem.
