Hi, my name is Jeff. I live in Western Massachusetts, about 90 miles from Boston.

Years ago, I had a '87 240 with a 5 spd. tranny until my wife insisted I get rid of it. I always regretted selling that vehicle. It had cost $350 because it had a dent on the passenger door. It was my dirty work car.

Now, I just bought a 2010 XC90 v8 Sport wagon. It seems to be a very nice vehicle. My wife had just totaled my beautiful Lexus LS430, and I was going to replace it with another one but decided to look at other makes and models. The XC90 seems solid and heavy -- just the way I like it. The V8 seems powerful. The interior is luxurious, though the nav/backup camera screen seems unimpressive. It is a handsome car, light gray with a black interior. There's one small crease on the rear driver's side passenger door; otherwise, the exterior seems perfect. It's impressive how there is no apparent rust. I was surprised I could buy this car with 159,000 miles for $4000. On the Carcomplaints site, the 2010 XC90 gets the Seal of Awesome -- "Has no apparent defects, serious or otherwise."

I am hoping for some opinions/advice/tips/opinions regarding care for the vehicle, things to watch out for, etc.
