Hi

I have an old Volvo 440Xi

I have the security code for the radio - but I dont know how to enter it! Volvo themselves dont know because the car is 11 years old. It is a VC 602 radio.

Any help appreciated.

However, tried this on many occasions but it keeps reverting to its lockout position even after correct code entry. After half an hour or so, it allows me to enter the code again, but again I get re-locked out. (shows < > symbols after Cod when locked out). Previous car owner said battery went flat and was never able to use the code after that. So still stuck.

concerningmVC 602 radio. proceed as follows I have used my own numbers here, subsVOLVO RADIO CODE 5063

COD enter I, 0 appears, press > to 5
enter 1, 0 appears
enter 1, 0 appears, press > to 6
enter 1, 0 appears, press > to 3
enter 1
titute your own

this works for me, but if you don't know the code there are services who can find it from your radio s/w
