(30 degrees c +)after about 30 mins of driving the car can begin to shudder and appears not to be getting any fuel. Any suggestions to fix this ??

A couple of things to check are the engine speed sensor it mounts on the engine block by the top of the transmission if any of the shielding on the wire is cracked replaced the sensor. Also check your fuel filter. When the car is running do you hear a loud motor noise under the drivers side?I would also look at the fuel pump relay.

I had the problem with my volvo long ago. After everything else (fuel pump relay, fuel filter, etc.) found out it was the in-tank fuel pump. The main fuel pump overheats when the in-tank isn't doing its job. Replaced mine and it hasn't had the same problem since.
