good evening,
I filled the AC with the diy can and uv dye (I understand it's not healthy to do so but I'm in a crunch. I realized that the power steering fluid is florescent itself. Thus, the leak I thought was the ac is simply the power steering coming out of the racknpinion boot.
Good news, found where the power steering leak is. Bad news, no idea where ac leak is.

No UV dye showed itself on any hoses, valves, connections, condenser, etc. The ac drain hose is draining (without any sign of dye) so the evaporator is okay?

FYI when I filled the ac line with refrigerant to 50 grams it slowly declined on the gauge.

Would there be an ac leak somewhere else that would be concealed & not showing dye? What would you do?

a common ac leak can be the valves in the hi and low ports, these should be changed when the system is refilled but rarely are.the other possibility is that no dye has been added to the AC system.
