Hello it's my first post.

My sister owns a 93 850.
I am researching for a new vehicle.
I've narrowed it down to the Volvo s60 and the Audi A4.
I live in northern Canada and there is ice and snow for half the year.

I'm liking the S60 T5
and also tha A4 quattro

Any opinions on these vehicles.
I find the s60 t5 has awesome power compared to the A4

If you pick the S60 awd it should do everything you want and a whole lot more.

I have read that Volvo is specialy designed for that winter in sweeden so if that is the same condition in Canada then the S60 is better. And I agree with Tech.

Hi

It's very easy to see the difference: Volvo S60 it's one step ahead of Audi A4. If you live in Canada, choose the S60 (I've been in Sweden and I can tell you that it's not an ordinary car that can deal with -40ºC.

Some interesting points. Thanks, I was looking at the AWD models but they are all automatics in Canada. For a manual gearbox I have go for the base model or the T5.
Do the T5 come with traction control? or stability control which is more effective in winter conditions.

Go with the Volvo!
I have had the Audi for 3 years and I think the Volvo will be better suited to the climate up there.
Good luck either way!
