I have a 2001 V70. I was feeling a 'hot spot" on my drivers side seat, and before I had a chance to get it in to get looked at, it had burned a hole right through. I have about a nickle size burn hole in my seat. Very scary!! Anyone else had any experience with this?

what year is your v70? on the 850, there was a recall for the heated seats. the previous owners of the both of my 850's had never did them. now, on my daily driver, i had the dealer do the recall, the other one had racing buckets put in, so i didn't care. i would check to see if there were any recalls or serivce bulletins and get the dealer to do the repairs, that way you know that both of the fronts were checked out and no more surprised. good thing that you are alright. now, are you sure you weren't experimenting with any mexican food?
