1996 850SE. in the morning the engine runs super perfect, after about 30 mins driving the car stalls. Changed sparks, leads, air and fuel filter and that other thing above the engine under the black cover. Rotor cap and button looks great. Any suggestions?
Is there any such thing as the coolant sensor, can that be the problem. And by the way the oxygen sensor is spot on also.

I would look at the fuel pressure and make sure you don't loose pressure when it dies.

Try to get a guage and leave it hooked up and see what happens.

paitarola,

Don't forget the RPM Boost/Pickup/Impulse sensor, that happened to me.
Refer to posting on "Relay, Sometimes won't start on first ignition".

Cheers!

Hi, finally got it fixed, it was a faulty mass air flow meter. The car is running better than ever. The strange thing is that we put my old air flow meter in another car and it seems to be working fine.
Is this possible.
Thanks everyone for your help and suggestions.

The labour is probably around 10 minutes of taking it off and putting it on, as it's straightforward, and the location of the MAF is good for access.

For price, refer to other online price sources...
