I think the accelration depends on your driving style also. But the S60 aproaches 100Km/hour with in 10.2 seconds. it is mentioned on the technical details of the car.
Engine efficient enough?
Volvo's new S60 sedan is fast at picking up speed, though I don't feel like it's engine is as efficient as they are trying to tell by making a statement that this new improved automobile can reach 60 miles per hour in just almost 5.5 seconds that too from a stand still position. Nevertheless, the engine is powerful enough and catches speed in a jiffy but not that quick.

Oh i was misguided..... my S60 also aproaches at the speed of 100KM/Hour wiht in 11 to 12 seconds. its ok i should say.
