When i press my brake pedal i get the "check brake light" warning, and so i did. But i cant find anything wrong. All looks fine but the strange part is, that if i press the pedal softly no warning and if i press it hard the warning comes up.
Anyone have a clue what this could bee??

btw: the car is an 2001 Volvo V70 LT

Could be a bad connection at the brake light bulbs.
Have you replaced any lately?

Try the bulbs first. That failure light works by resistance. If it sees a different resistance between the bulbs it turns the failure light on.

Thats why I asked if you replaced any bulbs lately. If you use 2 different brands of bulbs the resistance is different and will make it act the same way.
