Hello everyone, Have been searching through past posts and have not found a similar problem. I have a 2001 S60 which i've had for about a month, a great car, fun to drive, and great MPGs. The problem is the fan speed for A/C. The switching for the blower is i guess multi speed (not speed 1-2-3-4 settings) When first bought the speed switching worked, now only one speed no matter which way the speed selector is turned, and thats low. The wifey is kind of breathing down my back on this. So is this something a mechanic will have to look at, or maybe something simple i could fix and be a hero to my wife wink wink. Thanks for your time Wayne

The resistors on these cars are also known to go bad at times. They are mounted on the blower motor assembly.

If you can get the blower motor out then you should be able to fix it.

If not then the dealer can pull the codes and make sure it isn't something else.
It is hard to tell exactly with out pulling the codes and testing.

But most likely the resistor.
