93 volvo classic

recent purchase of 93 240 classic with blown head gasket. had it towed to garage. mechanic started engine to drive in garage and blew engine..now dead. wants 5k plus for rebuilt engine installed
difference between classic 240 engine and standard 240. is this good deal?

Good on you for saving a 245! Well done.
Any trips on servicing the front driver seat? I just bought new (used) leather to replace on mine. Not sure if I should remove the seat entirely or try to switch it out in car.
