One of the side mirrors of my 2009 XC70, does not fold (retract). I don't think the mirrors are out of sync with each other, rather the friction moving it has become too large. The motor works but appears not to have enough strength to fold and unfold the mirror without some simultaneous help from me pushing it by hand. The folding mechanism seems to have got stuck by dirt. I can even see what looks like a small part of a broken rubber gasket that sticks out between the upper and lower part of the mirror. I like to open, clean and lubricate the mechanism with some for plastic proper kind of lubrication. How do I disassemble the folding mechanism?
