After a oil service, I wash the engine, but I realize that liquid for that was changed for some strong degreaser or cleaner. I wash it fast but the engine is whistling, it looks like is caused by the idle pulley. Is that possible? I mean it could be the inner lubricant dry or maybe something else?

check your alternator pulley, it has a clutch built in, this can squeal if the clutch seizes, when this happens you can get the alternator belt come loose (trust me I have had this happen and was very lucky)
when this happens, the alternator belt can go into the timing belt (I was lucky mine didnt) if it does the timing belt will be jammed / break, and then your engine is toast, so - check the alternator pulley / clutch (it should turn freely one way) if it doesnt turn on the shaft in one direction, get a new pulley and fit it, you may just have saved your engine.

my pulley was degreased by a steering fluid leak, all the time it was leaking it was lubricating the pulley, once I fixed that, the pulley seized and the belt came off.

FIX IT! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/banana.gif)

I went to the dealer and surprise!! The mechanic chief told me "if you are a volvo owner for a while you should know that, when your engine whistling you must change the oil trap housing"

bam!!!

I bought a new one in there, after change it the whistle just off.

I my XC90 is located at the top of the engine, is a black plastic cover after the sparks caps. It takes no more than 30mins after the engine gets cold.

2007 Volvo XC90 3.2 - FIXED - I had a 'howling' screech, as well, especially at idle. Take off the oil cap or pull the oil dipstick. If the sound goes away it is your Oil Trap P/N 31319642. Maybe can be removed and cleaned with non-chlorinated brake cleaner otherwise replace. The pressure valve in the 'Trap' gets clogged up and/or fails. My best prices was at TASCAParts . com, excellent source of genuine Volvo Parts. The Oil Trap on my model is located under the engine cover; just pull up straight and it pops off.
