2004 xc70.

Drivers side mirror got smashed and need to replace it.
Got the number from dealer parts department, 30634936, but wont pay the $400 from there.
Looking for a used one, but none of the sellers can verify that it is exactly what I need.

I need a heated, illuminated, memory, manual fold mirror. All the sellers tell me to look at the plug and number of wires to see if it is what I need.

I would rather not pull the door panel off until I am ready to replace it.

Can anyone tell me what I need it terms of the plug and wires?

Thanks

usually you dont need to remove the whole door card, there are usually the fixings behind the small triangular panel just behind the mirror assembly, the plugs should be round here too.

As far as removal, pop off the speaker cover and loosen the single bolt, carefully remove all the pins that hold the panel on, pop off the door pull cover and remove the two T25 hex screws. Pull the panel up and off and you will be able to unclip the harness to the mirror and remove it. Once you do this you can set the door panel on the door to hold it or undo the harnesses to the window switches and set the panel aside. It's easy!
