Hey guys I currently own an 04 S80 and love the car. I am looking at an 05 S60 at an auto auction with very high miles. It's very clean and the engine runs great. the car seems to not have really any issues other than the miles. It has right about 260K on it. i know this car won't bring much so I was thinking of trying to pick it up just because of how clean it is. Miles sound crazy but if it's cheap enough being as clean as it is I think it would be worth the risk. My s80 has 130k and I love the car. Just haven't owned one of these very long so don't know how long they can even run. what is your opinion? Thanks

Mine has 140K miles and is at age 17 .. Now, I may have to junk it due to the "reduced engine performance" problem . and many other problems ..
The Saab and Honda both hit 200K, 21 plus years.

The 2.5T is known for outlasting the car in cases where proper care has been given, and usually cosmetic condition is a fair idea of how it was cared for mechanically if you don't have any way to verify oil changes. Keep in mind that the timing belt should be done ASAP if you don't know when it was done.
