Hello everyone I have a 97 960 wagon with a flashing up arrow and a check engine light on also my speedometer is not working. The code I am getting is a p0500 vehicle speed sensor the problems start after about 20-30 minutes of driving. Any help would be amazing thank you.

its probably a bad solder connection inside the abs module, though it could be one of the wheel sensors failing too, google volvo abs unit repair and you will probably find several videos that show how to do it.traction control is also done through the abs unit

remove each wheel in turn, check the reactor wheel behind each disc as you can get rust on them clean both the reactor wheel and the sensor. on each wheel.
