Hi,

My 2006 V50 has a roller blind that can be rolled up to cover the area above the backseats.

I have no use for this and would like to take it off and it obstructs the folding of seats etc.

Does anyone kno how to do this.

Thanks

Hi - It's relatively simple:
There are 2 curved catches at the bottom of each side of the contraption. These are reachable from inside the boot (Trunk for Americans) of the car. Simple pull them towards each other and the contraption will come out.
I hope that helped.

Oootle do you mean the actual loadbay cover or the 'netting' that attaches to the ceiling anchor points?

If it is the load bay cover then just follows the comments from Student.

If it is the netting then that is really simple first you will need to put all the rear seats down, starting with the single seat, with all the seats down slide the whole unit to the right I think i.e from one side to the other.

The unit is located on two plates and just slides on and off.

Not sure I have explained that very well !!

Let me know if your still stuck

Dude,

Does a roller blind sound like netting???

He is asking about the trunk area cover, the part that rolls and unrolls like a blind. Student explained the steps quite well. It is also in the owners manual.

Cheers....
