Ok, my name is alex and I bought a 1998 volvo c70. Anyways the CD player does not work, though the radio does. I have installed many stereos in cars and thought that I could do a quick replacement in this car also. Though that seems to be wrong. For those that have doen aftermarket Hu installs to the Sc-901 I would like to know a couple things. After the install what speakers no longer function, if any. What ohm load are the speakers set at and also are the wired in series. So lets say one channel on the after market deck handles 3 speakers, does the impedence still stya at 4 ohms. So if you have any pics, wiring instructions, what adaptors and install kits were used. This would be gladly apperciated. Im also going to install a single 10in sub for just little added bass. If you have done a install like this, love to hear if there is a recommended way for the best place to run wire and so forth. So you audio people speak up and hear what you have to say!

By the way if no one can help me I will figure out the system, and post pics and as much help full info as I can. It really sucks that I can't find really anything helpful in all the different volvo forums. We really need to start documenting aftermarket attempts, done to our cars. This is will only help others. Please guys if you have put a deck in your car please post.
