Hi
Can anyone let me know how i replace the backlight bulb in this unit as i cant find any details in the relevant manuals.It is in a 1997 v40 T4.The left side of the stereo is lit so i m wondering if the right bulb has blown

I have the same problem with the stereo backlights.

Did you ever find a solution or get replacement bulbs?

I just posted a similar reply on another thread, I just joined this forum looking for help on another topic, but browsing old threads I came across this. I replaced several bulbs on the same head unit (IIRC) on the old 1997 V40 2.0 with bulbs from Maplins, item WQ13P I think, my order history doesn't go back far enough to make 100% sure. Might be of some use even if chrisv40 has moved on since then...
