Hi there,
I just got a 2002 V70 XC AWD.
When I make an extreme right or left turn, if I'm taking a right angle turn on a city block say, the steering wheel stays in the turned position and doesn't snap back if I let go of the wheel. I have to manually straighten the wheel.
If I take a greater than 90degree turn the wheel will slowly snap back into a more straight position like it has on every other car I've ever driven.
I hope my explanation is clear enough.
Does anyone know if this is some intentional performance feature or is it a sign of some problem with the steering?

If you have the wheel at full turn? then it wont snap back. neither my 240 or 960 snap back when the wheels are turned full tilt. but if not they snap back pretty quick.

It may be a fwd or awd thing im just not familiar with. Has it always done this or is it just recent?
