Has anyone had trouble with their radio antenna? You turn the radio on the antennna goes up and makes a clicking noise and will not stay up. So the radio will not work.
Either that or it stays up and won't retract.
It just started this.

Alot of times the plastic inside the antenna mast that makes it go up and down brakes. You will need a new antenna mast. You might have to remove the antenna motor and open the cover to remove the broken peices.

I have replaced mine several times, have bought the replacement ones on ebay and they worked fine. Paid about $40, vs about $175 OEM cost from dealer.

The plastic belt that drives the antena up and down has broken. You can do one of two things. Put it up manually and it will work fine, or find a good breakers and get one of a 960 or S90 wreck. They run about $50 at the breakers. Very easy to replace. Four screws, remove the top threaded fitting, plug back to antena cable and you got it done
