Hi, I've been lurking a long time but now have to ask a question.

It's s dumb question but... Where do you check the AT fluid?

I've got an '02 XC70 w/92k miles on it. Lately I've been having an occasional hesitation starting from a stop. From these forums I've seen a variety of transmission problems and causes, most of which prompt the Volvo dealer to immediately suggest a transmission replacement.

Starting point, I understand, is view condition of the AT fluid. I presumed it's under the hood somewhere, but can't seem to find it. Am I just missing it or is it not accessible from under the hood?
