Hi, Just bought my first Volvo 3 weeks ago, it's A 2001 C70 Convertable, I'm getting a shaking at about 45-50 and then again at 60-67 MPH, the dealer has put new tires on and balanced then and still can't find the problem, anyone else have this problem?

If theres nothing else wrong with the suspension, I would try a reputable tire shop to be sure the dealer is balancing them right.

I had the exact problem with my 2001. Took it to two tier places, and found that the rim(s) were bent. Had them trued and problem was gone. You can usually tell, becasue it will shake an a specific speed as you stated.

Your car gets the shakes at 50 -60 ... hmm sounds like ur c70 needs some re-assurance, just calmly pat her on her dashboard and say sweet things like, your a pretty car, don't let the road scare you like that.

JK Yea I am almost 90% the two posts above are correct, had major issues with my truck shaking at 60+ and bike shaking when riding with no hands, truck needed tires rotated and balenced while my bike had a slightly bent lip on my front rim.

If you are certain that the balance is correct, you may also want to check the wheel alignment. An improper toe setting can also cause the front end to shake at speed.
