Im considering the purchase of an older volvo probabloy 1989 to 1993 and can only afford around 2000 dollors for the purchase. They all seem to have around 200,000 miles on them in this price range, I was hoping someone could tell me if you think this would be a wise purchase. And any and all inside information you might have about how reliable a car even a volvo would be with high miles on it in the 200,000 mile range. I have never owned a volvo and would greatly appreciate any information from anyone who knows about volvos. Thank you so much .....Wayne

Please review the remarks in the New Member/Introductory and General forum about buying a Volvo.

Your question is answered several times throughout the forum. Nobody here can make the decision for you as whether or not you should buy a particular vehicle. You have to make that decision yourself.

The forum is not short of postings about various models and members experiences.
