Hey guys, newbie here just bought myself a 2006 S40 T5 in Brilliant Blue Metallic. We already have a 2003 S60 2.4T (Mom's car). Just thought I'd pop in and say hi.

Anyway, rather newbie question, but anyone here know how to change the headlights on this car. The way the hood is designed it seems inaccessible. My old car (Saab 9-5) was pretty much "reach it and change it" this one seems untouchable. Any suggestions?

Hi oddferkout,

open the hood (make sure the headlight switch is switched to position 0) and pull the headlight housing's retaining pin up and then push the housing to the side (away from the engine ;about half of an inch); Slide it forward and disconnect the wiring;
