got an inline carbon fibre filter to replace the airbox on my s40. the thing is, there's no instructions on which way to fit the filter. there's the cone inside the filter which i think points into the air flow, but i'm not sure. is it right?

The filter should be facing the way the air is coming in.

So like if you have a cone filter lets say, you want it facing where the air is coming in from so it can filter the air.

If you could take a photo of the actual filter I can help out more.
