EACH TIME I EITHER TURN ON OR OFF MY A/C I HEAR A WHISTLEING NOISE FOR A FEW SECONDS ALSO WHILE THE A/C IS RUNNING IF THE TEMP GETS SATISFIED. DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT THIS IS

this may be the orifice tube ( a/c system) screen that has a pin hole causing it to whistle. a/c service must be done and taken apart to remove the orifice tube.
